The Education Board wanted to conduct the Board Exams for Classes 10 and 12 in the state. The matter was taken to the Supreme Court of India. The Court asked for assurance that if the state conducts the board exams, no fatalities should be reported. That is when the Board decided to call off the exams.
Supreme Court not satisfied with the Precautionary measures by the state board
During the hearing that took place for conducting the board exams in the state, the court asked the education board for the detailed measures they will take if the exams are to be conducted. The Board presented the measures. As the court reviewed the preventive measures, it is reported that it was not satisfactory and could probably not contain the spread of the virus.
