SBI has released the SBI Clerk 2025 notification for “Recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales)” (Advt. No. CRPD/CR/2025-26/06). The total vacancy to be filled this year is 6589, and Graduates are eligible for this post. There are only two examinations in SBI Clerk namely Prelims and Mains. As of now, SBI has only confirmed the Prelims exam date which is 20, 21, and 27 Sept 2025 whereas the Mains exam is scheduled in November 2025 (expected dates: 15 & 16 November 2025). - The exam is conducted online as the first stage of selection.
- Total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
- Overall duration: 60 minutes (1 hour).
- Divided into 3 sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
- Each section has a fixed time limit of 20 minutes.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Prelims are qualifying in nature – marks are not counted in the final merit list, but are necessary to move to the Mains exam.

When will SBI release the SBI Clerk Prelims Call Letter?
The State Bank of India will release the SBI Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2025 in the second week of September 2025, around 7–10 days before the exam date. Since the Prelims are scheduled on 20th, 21st, and 27th September 2025, candidates can expect the admit card to be available by 10th-12th September 2025.
The admit card will contain important details such as exam date, shift timing, exam centre address, and instructions to be followed at the exam hall. Candidates must download it from the official SBI website using their registration number and password.
