What is the Eligibility Criteria?
All candidates who want to apply for the UKSSSC Group C Post must meet the educational qualification and age limit criteria.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Science or Mathematics from a board/council established by law in India or from a recognised school situated in Uttarakhand, as prescribed in the notification.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit for the Scaler post is 18 years to 28 years. The age of the candidate will be determined as of 1 July 2026. Candidates belonging to categories eligible for age relaxation will be governed by the applicable rules mentioned in the recruitment notification.

Preferential Qualification

Nationality
Candidates must be Indian citizens. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 1 January 1962, or persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India, may also be eligible. Candidates under these categories must obtain an eligibility certificate from the State Government.
Physical Standards

The selection process will be completed in two stages:
- Stage 1: Physical Tests: The first stage consists of the qualifying Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Only candidates declared successful in these tests will be permitted to participate in the written competitive examination.
- Stage 2: Written Competitive Examination: The second stage will be an objective-type multiple-choice written competitive examination.
