UPSSSC ASO ARO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection for the posts of Assistant Statistical Officer and Assistant Research Officer (Statistics) will be based on a written examination (Main Exam). There is no interview.

Eligibility for Main Exam

• Only those candidates who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 can apply for the Main Examination
• Candidates must possess the PET 2025 scorecard issued by the Commission.

Shortlisting for Main Exam

• Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their normalized score obtained in PET 2025
• The Commission will shortlist candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies in each category
