The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Selection Post Phase 14 Notification 2026 across ER, CR, KKR, MPR, NER, NR, SR, and WR regions of SSC. The total vacancies for Phase-XIV have been revised from 3003 to 2919 by the Commission.

As per the official notice released on 20th April 2026, 188 vacancies of the Geological Survey of India (GSI) were withdrawn by the user department. At the same time, SSC added 104 new vacancies for various posts under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). After these changes, the revised total number of vacancies is now 2919 for Phase-XIV/2026 Selection Posts. Check details below.

SSC Phase 14 Online Form 2026

Candidates are required to first complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC portal before proceeding with the Phase 14 application form. After logging in, they must upload the required documents, including a photograph and a signature, and complete the online fee payment.

Resolution of Tie Cases

If two or more candidates have the same normalised scores in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE), the tie will be broken using the following steps, applied one by one until the tie is resolved:

(a) Compare the total marks obtained in the Computer-Based Examination.
(b) Compare the marks scored in Part-A of the Computer-Based Examination.
(c) Compare the marks scored in Part-B of the Computer-Based Examination.
(d) Compare the marks scored in Part-C of the Computer-Based Examination.
(e) Consider the candidates’ dates of birth, giving preference to the older candidate.
(f) If the tie still persists, the candidate whose name comes first in alphabetical order will be ranked higher.

SSC Phase 14 Pay Scale and Grade Pay

The salary for SSC Selection Post Phase 14 differs according to the post and its location, falling under Pay Levels 1 to 7.
