SSC MTS Shift Timings 2026

SSC MTS Exam Day Guidelines 2026

Candidates appearing for the SSC MTS Computer-Based Test (CBT) must strictly follow the exam day instructions issued by the Staff Selection Commission to avoid disqualification or last-minute issues. Important guidelines are given below:

  1. Documents to Carry:
    • Printed copy of the SSC MTS Admit Card
    • One valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, etc.)
    • Two recent passport-size photographs (same as used in the application form)
  2. Reporting Time:
    • Reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
    • Late entry may not be allowed under any circumstances.
  3. Items Allowed Inside the Exam Centre:
    • Admit card and ID proof
  4. Items Prohibited:
    • Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, earphones
    • Bags, books, notes, papers, or any electronic gadgets
    • Food items (except for medical reasons, with prior permission)
  5. Exam Hall Instructions:
    • Follow the instructions given by the invigilator carefully.
    • Do not indulge in any unfair practices or attempt to communicate with other candidates.
    • Ensure your biometric verification and attendance are completed properly.
    • Do not leave the exam hall before the exam ends unless permitted

What After SSC MTS CBT 2026?

After the successful completion of the SSC MTS CBT:

  • SSC will release the answer key
  • Candidates can raise objections within the given time frame
  • Final results and cut-off marks will be published
  • Havaldar candidates qualifying for CBT will be called for PET/PST
  • The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the CBT (and PET/PST for Havaldar).
