SSC CPO Slot Booking 2025 Reopen @ssc.gov.in, Select Exam Date and City Preference

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reopened the SSC CPO Slot Booking 2025 portal on 29th November 2025. Candidates can now select their preferred exam city, date, and shift for the SSC CPO Tier 1 Computer-Based Exam through the official website, www.ssc.gov.in. The deadline to submit slot preferences is 4th December 2025 (11 AM). This facility enables candidates to book their Paper 1 exam slot in advance, depending on availability.

The SSC CPO 2025 Tier 1 Exam will be held from 9th to 12th December 2025, with around 5,64,926 candidates applying for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and CAPFs. For the first time, SSC has introduced a slot selection facility for all applicants. Candidates need to choose three preferences, and the final slot will be allotted based on their choices and seat availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Candidates who do not submit preferences will not be allotted any slot and will be marked absent.
• In case of any error in slot allotment, candidates can contact the SSC helpline for clarification.

Steps to Book SSC CPO Exam Slot 2025

Follow the steps below to complete the slot booking:

1. Visit the official website: https://ssc.gov.in
2. Log in to the Candidate Portal and open “My Application”.
3. Click on Select City, Exam Date, and Shift.
4. Choose your preferred exam date and click Get Slot Details.
5. Select the slot (date and shift) for the three preferred cities chosen during registration.
6. Validate your choice using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email ID.
7. Click Validate & Submit to confirm your final choices.
8. Once submitted, the slot, city, and shift cannot be changed.

Candidates should keep the following documents and details ready before starting the slot booking process:

1. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth for login.
2. A valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) (If needed).
