Rajasthan SI & Platoon Commander Re-Exam 2026 Dates Announced, Applications From 16 May

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the re-exam schedule notice for the Sub Inspector Police/Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination 2021 on the official website.  As per the latest updates, the RSSB has cancelled the SI/Platoon Recruitment Examination 2021. The commission has decided to conduct the examination again from the beginning. Candidates can check the official notice in this article.

Rajasthan SI 2021 Re-exam Announced

The Re-examination for the SI/Platoon Posts is likely to be conducted in September 2026. Only 3,83,097 candidates who had appeared in both papers of the earlier examination will be eligible to appear in the re-exam. The online application correction process for Rajasthan SI/Platoon Exam 2021 will start from 16 May to 30 May 2026. Candidates make correction only in mobile number, email address,  address, live photo, signature & thumb impression.

Important Instruction for SI Form Correction

Check the important instructions while updating the Rajasthan Platoon/SI 2021 Application Form

• Candidates who have completed KYC in OTR can log in through SSO and directly go to  My Recruitment > Edit Application/Withdraw Application to edit their SI 2021 application form
• Complete the KYC and OTR process using the same SSO ID used during application.
• Candidates who shifted OTR to another SSO ID can edit the form using the new SSO ID.
• If the SI-2021 application is not visible, candidates can use the “Fetch Application Form” option. Live photo, signature, and thumb impression will automatically be fetched from OTR. and then correct these details: Mobile Number, Email Address, Correspondence Address
  Note: Even if no correction is required, candidates must open the form in Edit mode and submit it again through OTP verification.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates who are going to appear for this examination must know all the institutions given below:

• Carefully check the exam date, shift timing, and centre details mentioned on the admit card
• Reach the examination centre at least 90 minutes before the exam time
• Follow all instructions related to OMR sheet filling
• Electronic gadgets, calculators, and smart devices are strictly prohibited

Preparing for the Rajasthan Platoon Commander exam requires a balanced approach covering both the written examination and physical fitness. Candidates should follow a disciplined study plan, understand the syllabus thoroughly, and practice regularly to improve their performance.

• Understand the complete syllabus and exam pattern before starting preparation
• Focus on Rajasthan General Knowledge, including history, culture, geography, and current affairs
• Revise current affairs of the last 6–8 months daily
• Practice reasoning and basic mathematics regularly to improve accuracy
• Prepare English and Hindi language sections, especially grammar and comprehension

What After RSSB Platoon Commander Exam?

After the written examination, RSSB will release the answer key, followed by the result and cut-off marks. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Interview as per the recruitment rules.
