RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2026 Live: Shift-Wise Difficulty Level, Good Attempts

The RRB Group D CBT for CEN 09/2025 has started today, 3rd August 2026, and will be conducted across 16 days (3, 4, 5, 6, 9 to 14, 17 to 21, 25 August) in three shifts daily, for 22,195 Level 1 vacancies. First shift starts from 9 AM onwards and last shift ends at 5 PM.

RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2026

The RRB Group D Examination consists of Computer based test, PET, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Those who qualify each stage, will be selected for Level 1 posts in Indian Railways.

RRB Group D CBT Shift Timings 2026

RRB is conducting the Group D Exam in three shifts each day from 3rd to 25th August 2026. Candidates can check their allotted shift time in their city intimation slip and the admit card.

Preparation Tips Based on the Analysis

  • Prioritise accuracy in Mathematics and Reasoning as these have consistently been the highest-scoring sections across shifts.
  • Revise GA and Current Affairs notes if you have made any.
  • Go through important topics in Science NCERT up to Class 10 to revise once again.
  • Practice full-length mocks under 90-minute timing to build attempt speed, since good attempts have ranged from 72–85 depending on shift difficulty.
