English: Basic Grammar, Subject, and Verb, Adjectives and Adverbs, Synonyms, Antonyms, One Word Substitution, Fill in the Blanks, Correction in Sentences, Idioms and their meanings, Spell Checks, Adjectives, Articles, Prepositions, Direct and Indirect Speech, Active and Passive Voice, Correction in Sentences, etc

PSSSB Clerk Exam Pattern 2026

The PSSSB Clerk syllabus is primarily divided into six sections. The six main sections of the syllabus issued by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board are as follows. The Board has released the updated syllabus.

• The examination will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format, and OMR sheets will be used to answer the questions.
• The exam will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• The examination will consist of two parts (Part A and Part B) as detailed above
• There is a negative marking of -1/4th for each incorrect answer.
• The merit list of candidates who will qualify Part-‘A’, will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in Part-‘B’.
