SKAU Kurukshetra Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist posts must fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed in the official notification. SKAU Kurukshetra Staff Nurse Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications and professional requirements differ for the Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist posts. 1. Staff Nurse

Basic Qualification

• Matriculation (10th) from a recognized Board.

Professional Qualification

• Must be an A-Grade Nurse registered with the Haryana Nurses Registration Council or its equivalent.

Language Requirement: Candidates must fulfill either of the following:

• Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects, OR
• 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects.

2. Ayurvedic Pharmacist

Candidates can satisfy the educational qualification through either of the following pathways.

Pathway I

• Up-Vaidya from a recognized University/Institution/Board/Faculty of Indian System of Medicine established by law or recognized by the Government.
• Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
• Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit as a subject OR 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as a subject.

Pathway II

• Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution/Board/Faculty of Indian System of Medicine established by law or recognized by the Government.
• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit as a subject OR 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as a subject.

SKAU Kurukshetra Age Limit

The age criteria are common for both Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist posts. Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age limit as on the closing date of the online application. The age limit details are given below.

SKAU Kurukshetra Age Relaxation

Reserved category candidates belonging to Haryana State are eligible for age relaxation as per Government rules.

Important Age-Related Points

• Except for Ex-Servicemen, the upper age limit after relaxation cannot exceed 52 years.
• The Matriculation certificate will be accepted as the only valid proof of date of birth.

SKAU Kurukshetra Nationality

Apart from educational qualifications and age requirements, candidates must also satisfy the nationality conditions and other important eligibility instructions mentioned in the official notification. Candidates are eligible if they are:

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma (Myanmar), Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam intending to settle permanently in India.

Note: Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian citizens must possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Important Eligibility Instructions

• Eligibility regarding age, educational qualification, domicile, category, and other conditions will be determined as on 21 August 2026.
• Certificates issued after the closing date will not be considered.
• Reservation benefits are available only to Haryana domicile candidates. Applicants from other states will be treated as General/Unreserved candidates.
• Women candidates seeking reservation under SC, BC-A, or BC-B categories must submit caste certificates issued from their parental (father’s) side only.
• BC-A, BC-B, and EWS certificates must be valid for the financial year 2026–27. OBC certificates will not be accepted in place of BC-A/BC-B certificates.
• Candidates already employed in Central Government, State Government, Universities, or Public Sector Undertakings must upload a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the online application or produce it during document verification.
