The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board has announced 291 vacancies for various paramedical posts for MPESB Group 5 Paramedical Staff. MPESB Group 5 Paramedical Staff Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the MPESB Paramedical Staff Recruitment must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board. These conditions include educational qualifications, professional registration, age limits, domicile rules, and several other requirements.

MPESB Group 5 Paramedical Staff  Educational & Professional Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill both academic and professional qualifications to be eligible for MPESB Group 5 paramedical posts.

Basic Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with the following subjects:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

Technical Qualification

Along with the basic education requirement, candidates must possess a recognized Diploma or Degree in the relevant paramedical field, depending on the post applied for. Some of the relevant fields include:

• Pharmacy
• Nursing
• Pathology
• Laboratory Technology
• Other paramedical disciplines

Professional Registration

Candidates applying for medical and paramedical posts must hold a valid live registration with the appropriate council such as:

• M.P. Paramedical Council
• M.P. Pharmacy Council
• M.P. Nursing Council

Experience Requirement

Experience is not mandatory for most posts. However, certain positions such as Drug Coordinator (Compounder) require a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.

MPESB Group 5 Paramedical Staff Age Limit (As on 01 January 2026)

Candidates must meet the prescribed age criteria to apply for MPESB Group 5 paramedical posts.

Maximum Age Cap: Even after applying all relaxations, the maximum permissible age cannot exceed 45 years, except for specific categories such as contract workers and priority cases.

Additional Age Relaxations

• Vikram Award Winners: 5 years relaxation
• Inter-Caste Marriage Incentive Scheme Beneficiaries: 5 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: Military service period will be deducted from the candidate’s actual age. If the resulting age falls within three years of the upper age limit, the candidate will be considered eligible.

Residency & Mandatory Registration

Employment Registration: All applicants must have a valid and active registration with the Employment Office of Madhya Pradesh at the time of application.

Domicile Requirement: Candidates who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to claim reservation benefits and age relaxations under categories such as:

• SC
• ST
• OBC
• EWS
• PwD
• Candidates from Other States

Applicants who are not permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh can still apply but will be treated under the Unreserved (Open) category and will not receive reservation or age relaxation benefits.

Citizenship Requirement

Candidates must be:

• A Citizen of India, or
• A Citizen of Nepal

Other Important Eligibility Conditions

Apart from educational qualifications and age criteria, candidates must also fulfill several additional conditions to be considered eligible.

• Marital Status: Candidates who have more than one living spouse or who married before the legally permissible age are not eligible for appointment.
• Child Policy: Any candidate who had a third child on or after 26 January 2001 will be considered ineligible for appointment under the recruitment rules.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post. A medical examination will be conducted before the final appointment.
