The JAIIB PPB is  the Paper 2 of Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers Exam which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). PPB stands for Principles and Practices of Banking which is curated in order to assess the knowledge of candidates around this subject which is mandatorily expected from a banking professional who is in the process of advancing their career. The syllabus for PPB JAIIB includes 4 Modules and these modules includes different topics. The 4 modules in the JAIIB PPB Syllabus are:

About JAIIB PPB Exam

As mentioned above, JAIIB Principles and Practices of Banking (PPB) is the 2nd paper along with Indian Economy and Indian Financial System, Accounting and Financial Management for Bankers, and Retail Banking and Wealth Management. PPB JAIIB is an online exam which carries MCQ-based questions and it is mandatory to pass this paper in order to qualify JAIIB overall. As discussed above JAIIB is conducted twice a year, and for this year’s May session examination, JAIIB PPB 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on 10th May 2025 and for November it is scheduled on 8th November 2025.

JAIIB PPB Exam Pattern is easy to understand. The paper along carries total 100 questions and each carry 1 mark. The duration of the paper is 2 hours and the questions are basically objective type MCQ based. Also, as a relief, there is no negative marking in the JAIIB PPB Paper. Candidates need to score 50% marks or 50 marks out of 100 in order to qualify this paper.
