OICL AO Basic Conditions 2025

1. Probation Period
Every newly selected Administrative Officer will be on probation for one year. This period may be extended twice, each time by six months, leading to a maximum of 2 years of probation. To be confirmed as a permanent employee, candidates must:
- Pass the Licentiate Examination conducted by the Insurance Institute of India.
- Maintain satisfactory performance during probation.
- Failure to clear the licentiate exam during the extended probation period can result in termination from service.
2. Posting & Transfers
- Officers can be posted anywhere in India, as per company requirements.
- Minimum stay at the initial posting: 3 years.
- Hindi Officers may be required to remain in their specialization for 5 years.
3. Termination During Probation
OICL reserves the right to terminate a probationer without notice if their performance is unsatisfactory or if they violate conduct rules.
