NICL Assistant 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (1/7/2026)

Candidates aged between 21 and 30 years are eligible to apply for the NICL Assistant Notification Form Online. Applicants must have been born between 2nd July 1996 and 1st July 2005 (inclusive). Age relaxation for reserved categories is as follows:

NICL Assistant Regional Language Test (RLT)

Candidates who clear the NICL Assistant Online Main Examination must appear for the Regional Language Test (RLT), which assesses their ability to read, write, and speak the regional language of the State/UT they have applied for.

Note: Candidates who resign during the probation period or whose services are terminated by NICL will be required to refund the entire salary received during their service, along with Rs. 25,000 towards the partial cost of training.
