LIC AAO Will Refund the Intimation Charges to SC/ST/PwBD Candidates

LIC has made a big update for the AAO and Assistant Engineer (AE) 2025 recruitment. Earlier, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates didn’t have to pay the exam fee but still had to pay Rs. 85 as intimation charges along with GST. Now, LIC has waived these charges, so candidates from these categories won’t have to pay anything while applying. Those who already paid will get a refund directly to their bank accounts, making the process easier and more affordable for everyone.

LIC AAO Refund Intimation Charges

LIC issued a corrigendum for the LIC AAO Recruitment 2025. The update applies to the recruitment of AAO (Generalist & Specialist) as well as Assistant Engineer (AE) posts. Earlier, as per the notification, candidates from the SC, ST, and PwBD categories were exempted from paying the examination fee. However, they were still required to pay ₹85 as intimation charges, along with GST and transaction fees. LIC has revised the rule: no candidate from these categories will be required to pay the ₹85 + GST moving forward.

LIC AAO/AE Fee Refund

In the new corrigendum, LIC has announced that SC/ST/PwBD candidates will not be charged Intimation Fees. This means that they will not have to pay any amount while applying for the LIC AAO/AE 2025. This update is a major relief for LIC AAO/AE aspirants from SC/ST/PwBD categories, as it removes the fee burden and ensures equal opportunity for all candidates.

LIC AAO/AE Intimation Charges Refund Process

Candidates who have already paid the Rs. 85/- plus GST will get a refund.
Those who have already paid will see the amount refunded shortly after the application deadline.
Refunds go straight to the bank accounts provided during the application.
