What is the Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational and other eligibility conditions before applying.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have passed HSC/12th or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government. In addition, candidates must possess either:
- A minimum one-year Health Sanitary Inspector Diploma from a government-recognized institution; or
- A minimum one-year Health Sanitary Inspector Certificate course from a recognized ITI or educational institution.
Candidates must also possess basic computer knowledge as prescribed under the applicable Gujarat Government rules and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Age Limit
As on 31 August 2026, the candidate must:
- Be at least 18 years old, and
- Not be more than 33 years old.
The upper age limit may be relaxed for candidates already serving under the Gujarat Government, as provided under the applicable Gujarat Civil Services rules.
