The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC NDA 1 Result 2026 for the written examination held on 12 April 2026. Candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned in the result PDF have qualified for the SSB Interview conducted by the Ministry of Defence for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy’s 157th Course and the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), starting from 1 January 2027. Steps to check if your Roll Number is in the PDF
- Open the PDF on your computer or phone.
- Use the search feature (Ctrl + F or “Find in page”).
- Type your Roll Number exactly as it appears on your admit card.
- If found, then you have qualified for the SSB interview.
- If not found, you have not qualified in the written exam.
Mandatory Online Registration for SSB
Candidates are requested to register themselves online on the Indian Army recruiting website, joinindianarmy. nic.Within two weeks of the announcement of the written result. The successful candidates would then be allotted Selection Centres and dates of SSB interview, which shall be communicated on their registered e-mail ID. Any candidate who has already registered earlier on the site will not be required to do so. In case of any query/ Login problem, e-mail be forwarded to dir-recruiting6-mod@nic.in.
Candidates are also requested to submit original certificates of Age and Educational Qualification to respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs) during the SSB interview.”

- Candidates must carry original Age and Educational Qualification certificates to the SSB centre.
- Original certificates should not be sent to UPSC.
