Indian Navy SSC Officer Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Indian Navy before submitting the application form.

Age Limit: The age criteria vary according to the branch applied for.

Generally, candidates should fall within the age range specified in the official notification, typically between 20 and 26 years for most entries.

Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer)	BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks along with 60% aggregate in Class X & XII and 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
Air Traffic Controller (ATC)	Same eligibility as Pilot and Observer entries.
Logistics	BE/B.Tech with First Class; OR MBA with First Class; OR B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (IT) with First Class and PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management; OR MCA/M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC)	BE/B.Tech with 60% marks in relevant Engineering disciplines or PG Degree in Electronics/Physics. Candidates must also have 60% aggregate in Class X & XII and 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.

Indian Navy SSC Selection Process 2026

The Indian Navy SSC Officer Selection Process 2026 consists of the following stages:

Stage 1: Shortlisting of Applications
Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance in the qualifying degree as per the normalization criteria prescribed by the Indian Navy.

Stage 2: SSB Interview
