BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled, Check Official Notice and Re-Exam Dates

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has reportedly cancelled the BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 following allegations of malpractice and irregularities during the examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam on 14 to 21 April 2026 should check the official website for the latest updates regarding the cancellation notice and re-exam schedule.
As per official Notice released on 01 May 2026, 32 candidates were banned from taking part in any future exams conducted by the commission. The decision has been taken after multiple complaints related to unfair practices surfaced during the exam process.

BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled (Official Notice)

The exam for Assistant Education Development Officer was conducted in 9 shifts from 14 April 2026 to 21 April 2026 (covering multiple dates within this period).
Despite no question paper leak being found, all 9 shifts of this exam have been cancelled due to cheating attempts (like using Bluetooth devices) at some centers.

Why was the exam cancelled despite no paper leak?

The BPSC AEDO Exam was cancelled because:

1. At some exam centers, candidates tried to cheat using Bluetooth and other devices.
2. This disturbed the fairness (honesty) of the exam.
3. Even though the question paper was not leaked, the commission wants to protect honest students and ensure exams are completely fair and transparent.
4. Therefore, to be fully fair to all meritorious candidates, the commission decided to cancel all 9 shifts of the exam.

Another examination conducted on 23 April 2026 for the Assistant Sanitation and Waste Management Officer post has also been cancelled.

What’s Next After Exam Cancellation

After the cancellation, the Bihar Public Service Commission will take the following steps:

• A fresh exam schedule will be announced soon on the official website
• New admit cards will be issued for all candidates
• The exam will be conducted again with stricter security measures
• Candidates who were debarred will not be allowed to appear again
• Authorities may implement strong anti-cheating systems (like stricter frisking, surveillance)

32 Candidates Banned from Future Exams

A total of 32 candidates have been banned from appearing in any future examinations conducted by the commission. They were found attempting to cheat using Bluetooth devices and creating disturbances during the exam. In addition to the ban, police complaints have been filed against them and other anti-social elements involved in the malpractice.
