IBPS RRB Exam Date 2025

The IBPS RRB Exam Date 2025 has been officially announced along with the detailed notification. The Preliminary Exam for Officer Scale I (PO) will be held on 22nd and 23rd November 2025, while the Office Assistant (Clerk) Prelims is scheduled for 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th December 2025.

Candidates who qualify in the prelims will move on to the Mains Exam, which is set for 28th December 2025 for Officer Scale I, II, and III, and 1st February 2026 for Clerks. Aspirants are advised to mark these dates and begin their preparation in line with the exam schedule.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2025

To apply for the IBPS RRB 2025 exam, candidates must fulfil conditions related to nationality, age, educational qualification, and language proficiency. Check the IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria below.

Age Limit:

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18–28 years
• Officer Scale I: 18–30 years
• Officer Scale II: 21–32 years
• Officer Scale III: 21–40 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years), Ex-servicemen, widows/divorced women, and others as per government norms.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Office Assistant (Clerk): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; proficiency in local language; computer knowledge desirable.
• Officer Scale I (PO): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preference to Agriculture, IT, Management, Law, Economics, etc.); local language proficiency; computer skills desirable.
• Officer Scale II (GBO): Graduation with 50% marks; 2 years’ experience as a bank officer.
• Officer Scale II (Specialist): Relevant bachelor’s/PG degree (IT, CA, Law, Marketing, Treasury, Agriculture) with 1–2 years’ experience in the field.
• Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Graduation with 50% marks (preference to specialized fields); minimum 5 years’ banking/financial sector experience.

Nationality:

Applicants must be Indian citizens, or fall under approved categories such as subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (before 1 Jan 1962), or persons of Indian origin migrated from select countries with eligibility certificates from the Government of India.

Language Proficiency:

Candidates must know the local language of the state/UT where the RRB is located.
