IBPS PO Prelims Answer Key 2026 and Scorecard Out, Check Your Scores and Response Sheet

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS PO Prelims Answer Key 2026 for CRP PO/MT-XVI. The answer key contains the question number, candidate’s response, and correct answer for all 100 questions, allowing candidates to check their responses and estimate their marks.

Along with this, the IBPS PO Prelims Scorecard 2026 has also been released, showing the candidate’s overall marks, section-wise marks, and qualifying status.

The Prelims were conducted on 22 and 23 August 2026; the result was announced on 23 September 2026, and the Mains Exam is scheduled for 4 October 2026.

Candidates can estimate their IBPS PO Prelims marks based on the number of correct and incorrect responses. The exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions. The IBPS PO Selection Process begins with the Prelims Exam, which serves as the first stage for candidates aspiring to become Probationary Officers/Management Trainees. Candidates who clear the Prelims are eligible to appear for the Online Main Examination.

For CRP PO/MT-XVI, the Mains Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 4 October 2026. IBPS has already activated the Mains Call Letter download link, allowing shortlisted candidates to download their call letters and check the examination details.

IBPS PO Mains Marking Scheme 2026

The Mains exam consists of an Objective Test carrying 200 marks and a Descriptive Paper carrying 25 marks. The Objective Test includes Reasoning, General/Economy/Banking/Digital/Financial Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. The Descriptive Paper consists of 2 questions for 25 marks. The total marks obtained in the Mains examination are calculated after applying this penalty for wrong answers.
