IBPS PO, SO Application Correction Window 2026 Begins at ibps.in, Edit Application Form Till 30 July

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened Application Correction Window for IBPS PO 2026 (CRP PO/MT-XVI) and IBPS SO 2026 (CRP SPL-XVI) on its official website on 29 July 2026. Candidates who have successfully submitted their online applications along with the prescribed fee can now modify eligible details in their application forms.

The correction facility is available for two days only, from 29 July to 30 July 2026. Candidates can log in using their Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth to edit the permitted fields.

How to Edit IBPS PO, SO Application Form 2026?

Candidates can follow the steps below to modify their application form:

Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website.

Step 2: Click on the CRP PO/MT-XVI or CRP SPL-XVI Application Correction link.

Step 3: Log in using your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.

Step 4: Open your submitted application form.

Step 5: Edit the details that are permitted by IBPS.

Step 6: Review all the changes carefully.

Step 7: Pay the correction fee online.

Step 8: Submit the corrected application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Details That Cannot Be Edited

According to the official IBPS notice, candidates cannot modify the following details in their submitted application:

• Name
• Registered Email ID
• Registered Mobile Number
• State/UT
• Correspondence Address
• Permanent Address
• Post Applied For
• Nationality

Category Change Rules

IBPS has permitted category modifications only under the following combinations.

• Candidates changing their category from General/EWS/OBC (NCL) to SC/ST/PwBD will not receive any refund of the application fee already paid.
• Category changes outside the prescribed combinations are not permitted.

IBPS Application Correction Fee 2026

Candidates are required to pay a correction fee of Rs. 200 (inclusive of GST) to submit the modified application. The fee is applicable to all category candidates and it can be paid online only.

This fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any future recruitment examination.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Before submitting the corrected application, candidates should note the following:

• The correction facility can be used only once.
• Verify every detail carefully before final submission.
• After successful payment of the correction fee, only the latest modified application will be considered valid.
• Candidates having multiple applications should edit only the latest submitted application.
• No modification request will be accepted after 30 July 2026.
• IBPS will not entertain requests for correction through email, post, or any offline mode.
