Who is eligible for this Recruitment?
- Only one dependent family member of an Assam Rifles personnel is eligible to apply.
- The Assam Rifles personnel must have been:
- Killed in action, or
- Died while in service, or
- Discharged from service on medical grounds, or
- Missing while in service.
- The applicant must be a dependent family member of the above-mentioned personnel.
- Candidates from across the country can apply (no domicile restriction).
- Educational qualification and technical/ITI diploma requirements vary by post as per the official notification.
- Age limit is calculated with cut-off date of 01 January 2026 (minimum and maximum age as per norms).
Age Limit Criteria (Without Relaxation)

Other Important Points for Candidates
- The written exam is exempted for candidates applying under the compassionate scheme
- Tattoos are allowed only on the left forearm or dorsum of hands, limited to religious symbols, and should be less than one-fourth of the body part
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the recruitment rally
- Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly banned at the rally site
- Physically handicapped candidates are not eligible for this recruitment
- The merit list will be prepared after completion of all stages of the selection process
- Qualifying in all tests does not guarantee final selection
- The New Pension Scheme (NPS) will be applicable to selected candidates
