He / She should be an Officer with a minimum of ten years’ (five years in case of PWBD candidates) of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force holding a valid Ex-Serviceman Identity Card.
Short Service Commissioned Officers must have completed at least 10 years of continuous military service and been released after completing their assignment (including those whose service ends by 31 October 2026). The release should not be due to misconduct, inefficiency, or disability unrelated to military service. Officers released due to a service-related disability or invalidment are also eligible.
Short Service Commissioned Officers who have served over 10 years and whose service has been extended may apply if the Ministry of Defence certifies that they will be released within three months of receiving an appointment offer.
