Finally, the wait is over for aspirants preparing for the respected position of Assistant Manager at a reputed organisation like NABARD. The National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD) will soon release an official NABARD Grade A notification 2025. And aspiring candidates must be well known of the NABARD Grade A eligibility criteria before applying, as the official NABARD notification is expected to be released in the last week of August 2025.

NABARD Grade A Recruitment Eligibility

NABARD plays a vital role in agricultural financing and rural development in India, and Grade A Officers are key to implementing policies and programs in these areas. As the NABARD Grade A notification 2025 will tentatively be released in the last week of August 2025, aspirants can expect the applications to begin from the 1st week of September 2025. NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2025

As the eligibility is expected to be similar to that of the previous recruitment drive, we are providing you with the NABARD Grade A eligibility criteria for the previous year, which remain unchanged with some minor tweaks. And following the official notification 2024, you should be between the ages of 21 and 30 and hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. It is important for candidates to carefully review and fulfil all the eligibility criteria to apply for the Grade A Officer position at NABARD. for which aspirants need to wait.

NABARD Grade A Age Limit (as of 1 July 2025)

Candidates must meet specific age requirements to qualify for NABARD Grade A recruitment. The age limits are categorised as:

Age Relaxations

These age relaxations are applicable as per government regulations and provide eligible candidates from specified categories additional time to apply for the NABARD Grade A exam.

Ex‐Servicemen To the extent of service rendered in the Armed Forces, plus an additional period of 3 years (maximum of 50 years)
Widows/divorced women/women judicially separated who are not remarried By 10 years
Candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989 By 5 years

NABARD Grade A Educational Qualifications

To qualify for the upcoming NABARD Grade A exam 2025, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a specific subject or speciality. It is essential that the candidate has chosen and studied this subject as a major throughout all semesters, and that it is indicated on the university-issued degree certificate.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from any recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%)
  • OR Post Graduate degree (MBA/PGDM) with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%)
  • OR CA/CS/ICWA OR Ph.D from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.
Computer/Information Technology
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Technology/ Computer Applications/Information Technology from any recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%)
  • OR Post Graduate degree in Computer Science/ Computer Technology/ Computer Applications/Information Technology with 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%) from a recognized University/Institution.
Finance
  • BBA (Finance/Banking) / BMS (Finance/Banking) with 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate from Universities / Institutions recognized by GoI /UGC
  • OR Two years full-time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Full-time MBA (Finance) /MMS (Finance) degree with 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from Universities/ Institutions recognized by GoI /UGC with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates will be required to submit a certificate from a University/ Institution regarding specialization in finance OR a Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate from a University/ Institution recognized by GoI /UGC
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
  • OR CFA Institute. The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-09-2023
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ACMA/FCMA) & ICWA. The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-09-2023.
Company Secretary Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Associate membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The Membership of ICSI must have been obtained on or before 01-09-2023.
Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate
  • OR Post Graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate
  • OR Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Geo Informatics
  • BE/B.Tech/BSc degree in Geoinformatics from any recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate OR ME/M.Tech/MSc degree in Geoinformatics with a minimum of 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Forestry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (ST/PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate
  • OR Postgraduate degree in Forestry with 55% marks (ST/PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Food Processing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Processing/Food Technology from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate
  • OR Postgraduate degree in Food Processing /Food Technology with 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Statistics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate
  • OR Post Graduate degree in Statistics with a minimum of 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institution.
Mass Communication/Media Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media/ Communication/ Journalism/ Advertising & Public Relations from a recognized University/ Institution with 60% marks (PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate
  • OR Postgraduate degree in Mass Media/ Communication/ Journalism/ Advertising & Public Relations from a recognized University/Institution with 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 60% marks (PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate with Post graduate diploma in Mass Media/ Communication/ Journalism/ Advertising & Public Relations/ with 55% marks (PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.

NABARD Grade A Nationality Classification

  • Must be a Citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came before 1st Jan 1962, and has settled permanently in India
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and East African countries such as Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
