NIACL Apprentice Exam Pattern 2025
The first stage of apprentice selection process is an online exam which consist of 100 questions of 1 mark each and the duration of the exam is 60 minutes. Candidates have to answer the questions within the set time limits and all the subjects carry each weightage in the exam.

Is there a Negative Marking in the NIACL Apprenticeship Exam 2025
Yes, there is a negative marking of 1/4th mark out of total in case any candidate marks the answer wrongly. However, there is no negative marking of unanswered questions.

NIACL Apprentice Regional Language Test
After qualifying the written exam, candidates have to pass the regional language test as well to ensure proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking of the local language of the region. RLT is only qualifying in nature and no marks are assigned to it.
Also, if a candidate produces 10th/12th marksheet mentioning that the candidate has read the particular language, then they need to appear for the Test.
Tips to Prepare for NIACL Apprentice Exam 2025
- Start by knowing what sections are included, how many questions are asked, and the weightage of each topic.
- Start with your weaker areas but don’t ignore your strengths.
- Keep time for revision and mock tests each week.
- Prepare notes for static GK, banking & insurance awareness, and government schemes
- Solve grammar exercises and practice cloze tests, fill in the blanks, and error spotting
- Solve puzzles and seating arrangement questions regularly
- Take full-length mock tests at least 2–3 times a week.
- Review your mistakes after each test and work on improving them.
