UCIL Apprenticeship 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are waiting for their mark sheets or certificates must not apply for the UCIL intership program 2026. Also those who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any government, public sector or private organisation are not eligible for this enrolment.

To participate in the employment process at Uranium Corporation of India Limited, candidates applying for Technician and Graduate Apprentice posts are required to submit their applications through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. Candidates applying for Trade Apprentice posts must apply through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal.

How to Apply for UCIL Apprentices Recruitment 2026?

Step 1: Register on the Appropriate Government Portal: Candidates must register themselves on the relevant Government apprenticeship portal as per the apprentice category:

Step 2: Candidate Registration and Profile Completion: Candidates must click on the Registration tab on the respective portal to register for Apprenticeship Training. After successful registration a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail ID. Candidates must click on the activation link provided in the e-mail (for example: Registration Number – A000000000). After activation the candidates must log in and complete their profile to confirm registration.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents: While applying online through the official apprenticeship portal, candidates must upload the following documents:

• Matriculation certificate and all mark sheets

• Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC [NCL] candidates only)

• EWS certificate, wherever applicable

• Medical certificate (for physically handicapped candidates only)

• Recent photograph and signature

• Aadhaar card and PAN card

• Aadhaar-linked bank account details

• Land Acquisition Certificate for Land Displaced Persons/Aadhaar card for Project Affected Family/UCIL employee ID card for Employee’s son as applicable

Step 4: Select Apprenticeship Opportunity and Unit: After completing registration, candidates must click on the Apprenticeship Opportunities tab and select the desired trade/discipline for which Apprenticeship Training is sought.
Candidates must also select one or more UCIL units namely Jaduguda, Narwapahar and Turamdih where they wish to undergo training.

Step 5: Submit Application Before the Last Date: Candidates must complete and submit their online application on or before 28th February 2026.

What is the UCIL Apprentices Selection Process 2026?

Shortlisting Based on Merit: Candidates will be shortlisted purely on merit, based on the percentage of marks in the relevant qualification. Only accurate and complete information in the online application will be considered. Providing false or incorrect information may lead to disqualification.

Provisional Merit List
A provisional merit list will be prepared from the data submitted on the portal. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible for the next stage of the process.

UCIL Apprentices 2026 Salary Details

Apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend strictly as per the rates prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprentices Rules, 1992 including all changes issued from time to time. The stipend amount will be governed by the applicable Government of India guidelines during the apprenticeship training period.
