Technical Assistant – A	SSC or Equivalent ITI certificate (two years’ full time) in the Trade of turner, fitter, machinist and mechanical (electroplater, welder (gas & electric). National Trade Certificate in the Trade awarded by NCVT and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
Technical Assistant – B	SSC or equivalent. Two-year full-time ITI certificate in Turner, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanical (Electroplater/Welder – Gas & Electric), or Electronics Mechanic. National Trade Certificate (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT. Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in R&D institutes, industries, or factories in testing, measurement, and handling of electronic equipment as per post requirements.

Scientific Assistant	Diploma (full-time) in Electronics, Communication, or B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics from a recognized Institute.
Scientific Officer – A	Full-time Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Civil, or Communication Engineering OR B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics from a recognized institute. Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in R&D institutes or reputed industries in areas such as: Testing, measurement, and maintenance of high-power /high-voltage electronic systems.Construction and maintenance of residential/ non-residential buildings. Electrical systems management — substations, wiring, lifts, fire panels, AC plants, and telephone exchanges. Handling of transformers, switchgears, protection systems, SCADA, and RF/Microwave systems as per post requirements.

SAMEER Recruitment Selection Process 2025

Here’s how the selection will take place for the recruitment:

The recruitment will be carried out in two stages: Stage I: Written Test (Computer-Based Test) – All candidates will appear for this round.

Stage-II: Skill/Trade Test – Only shortlisted candidates (at least 1:10 ratio per post) will be called for this stage.

The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in both stages, with a weightage of 60% for the Written Test and 40% for the Skill/Trade Test.
The CBT will be conducted in various cities (subject to a minimum candidates).
The Skill/Trade Test will be held at designated SAMEER centres.
No request for a change of test centre or date will be accepted.

SAMEER Application Fee 2025

Here are the details of the applicable application fee:

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- online through Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
SC/ST/Women/Persons with Disabilities/Ex-servicemen candidates need to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 100/- online.
The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
