SAIL Selection Process 2022: Exam Pattern

SAIL Selection Process 2022: The detailed Exam Pattern of Steel Authority of India Limited for the post of Executive, Non-Executive & Trainee is mentioned below.

• The Duration of the CBT Exam is 2 hours only.
• The Question Paper will come in Objective Typed Based (English/Hindi).
• The CBT Exam will consist of 2 segments.
• The Total no. of Questions that come in the Exam is 200.

SAIL Selection Process 2022: The candidates must know the selection process for SAIL Recruitment 2022 to attain the Executive & Non-Executive posts. Here, we have provided with detailed SAIL Selection Process 2022.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Note:- The Qualifying marks will be calculated separately for each post/discipline.

Interview

• Candidates who qualify for the CBT for the posts of Asst. Manager (Safety), will be shortlisted for interview in order of merit at the ratio of 1:3. Knowledge in Odia language (speak, read & write) shall be assessed during the interview. For final selection, a merit list will be drawn by combining the marks of CBT & Interview with the weightage of 80:20 respectively.
• Candidates who qualify the CBT for the posts of Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator), Mining Foreman, Surveyor, Mining Mate, Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum Technician (Trainee) & Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (HMV), will be shortlisted for skill test /trade test in order of merit at the ratio of 1:3 for each post/discipline/trade.
• Candidates who qualify the CBT for the posts of Fire Operator (Trainee) & Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee), will be shortlisted for Physical Ability Test (PAT) in order of merit, at the ratio of 1:3 for each post.
• The PAT will consist of the followings:

• Skill Test/Trade Test/PAT will only be of qualifying in nature.
• For final selection, the weightage of marks of Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 100%.
• Candidates for CBT/Interview/Skill Test / Trade Test / PAT will be allowed to produce of original call letter/admit card, One Govt approved photo identity proof, and after undergoing Biometric authentication at venue.
• The health standards indicated above are minimum prerequisites. However, the appointment of selected candidates will be subject to them being found medically fit by the Company’s Medical Officer / Board as per standards laid down under SAIL Medical & Health Manual.

Test Centres

A total of 7 cities shall be conducted Computer Based Test (CBT) for the above posts under SAIL Recruitment 2022.

• The date, time & venue for CBT Exam will be given to you in admit card & other information shall be shared through E-Mails/SMS & SAIL official website.
• Admit Card shall be downloaded by the candidates from the link provided in the article.
• The date, time & venue for the Interview/Skill Test/ Trade Test/ PAT will be given to the shortlisted candidates through Call Letter & other information shall be shared through E-Mails/SMS & SAIL official website. Call Letters shall be downloaded by the shortlisted candidates from the official sites of SAIL.
