The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a mega drive to recruit 2,569 candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in various locations across India. The vacancies announced by the Indian Railways offer a once-in-a-year opportunity to diploma holders and graduates from technical and engineering backgrounds. Out of the total vacancies announced, more than 2300 posts are exclusively for the position of  Junior Engineers (JE). RRB JE CBT-2 Subject Wise Weightage

The CBT-1 is basically for the qualification of candidates. It serves as a way to shortlist and screen them for the main test, which is the CBT-2.
