Male Candidates
- Male RRB JE should choose simple and comfortable everyday clothes that do not look flashy or heavy during security checks
- Wear plain trousers or jeans without chains, extra pockets or metal detailing to ensure smooth entry.
- Opt for basic shirts or T-shirts with minimal design so that comfort remains the priority on exam day.
- Avoid belts with large or metal buckles and come without a belt if possible.
- Do not wear caps, hats or fashion accessories as they may lead to unnecessary checking.
- Avoid rings, chains, bracelets or any form of jewellery even if worn regularly.
- Keep pockets empty and do not carry keys, wallets, coins or loose items.
- Wear simple footwear that can be easily removed during security verification.
- Keep hair neat and well-managed to avoid repeated checks by the staff.
Female Candidates
- RRB JE Female applicants must wear simple and comfortable clothes that allow easy movement and do not cause inconvenience during security checks.
- Avoid outfits with heavy embroidery, metal work or decorative elements that may lead to extra verification.
- Choose plain tops, kurtis or salwar suits with minimal design for a smooth entry process.
- Refrain from wearing bangles, anklets, earrings, nose pins or any jewellery with metal parts.
- Avoid hair accessories such as clips, pins or bands that contain metal.
- Do not carry handbags, purses or wallets inside the examination centre.
- Keep pockets empty and carry only the required documents like the admit card and photo ID.
- Wear simple sandals or slippers that are easy to remove during security checks.
- Keep makeup minimal and avoid applying heavy cosmetics or strong perfumes.

Do’s
• Reach the CBT examination centre well before the reporting time to complete verification without any hurry.
• Applicants must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof.
• Follow the prescribed RRB dress guidelines to avoid unnecessary checking or delays.
•Applicants must cooperate with the security staff and invigilators during frisking and identity verification.
• Read and follow all instructions displayed on the screen and announced by the invigilator.
• Maintain silence and discipline inside the examination hall throughout the exam duration.
• Stay seated until the JE examination is over or until permitted to leave.
Dont’s
