Technical Knowledge: The syllabus for this part would include Basic concepts of
Electricity, Circuit laws, Magnetic Circuits, AC Fundamentals, Measurement and
Measuring instruments, Electrical Machines, Fractional Kilowatt Motors and Single phase
Induction Motors, Synchronous Machines, Generation, Transmission and Distribution,
Estimation and Costing, Utilization and Electrical Energy, Basic Electronics & Computer
basics.

Note: The standard of questions in Engineering will be in the level of Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. All the questions will be set in SI units.
Written Exam. In case of a tie, in marks in the written exam, the candidate with higher
qualifications would be preferred. If there is still a tie, an older candidate will be
preferred.
