NRL GET Selection Process 2025
The recruitment process for Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) and Assistant Officer Trainee (AOT) positions at NRL in 2025 consists of two key stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Personal Interview (PI)

For Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET):
The online test (CBT) will have different sections:
- Section A – Subject Knowledge (based on your engineering degree subjects): Carries the most weight – 80%
- Section B – General Knowledge & Current Affairs
- Section C – English Language
- Section D – Reasoning & Numerical Ability
For Assistant Officer Trainee (AOT):
The test includes the following sections:
- Section A – General Knowledge (includes topics like the Indian and global energy sector): 60% weight
- Section B – Reasoning & Numerical Ability
- Section C – English Language
Final Selection Process:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): 85% weight in final score
- Personal Interview (PI): 15% weight in final score
Note: To move forward in the selection, candidates must score at least 50% marks in both the CBT and the Interview.

NRL GET Salary 2025
As per the NRL Recruitment 2025 notification, the pay scale is structured as follows, and candidates are also entitled to competitive perks and benefits throughout the training period, as detailed below:
