Registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal, along with approval from the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), is compulsory for every applicant. NCL will finalize engagement only after a candidate’s NATS/NAPS profile is verified, so applicants should complete this registration well before applying on the NCL portal to avoid last-minute rejection.

NCL Barsingsar Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection for NLC Barsingsar Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on the merit secured in the qualifying examination. No written test or interview will be conducted.

• Trade Apprentices: Based on marks obtained in the ITI (NCVT) examination.
• Diploma/Technician Apprentices: Based on marks obtained in the Diploma in the relevant discipline.
• Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Based on marks obtained in the B.E./B.Tech degree.
• Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices: Based on marks obtained in the B.Com/B.B.A degree.

Note: For candidates with semester-wise results, the average percentage of marks obtained from the second year to the final year will be considered. Where CGPA/Grades are awarded, the conversion formula prescribed by the respective University/Institution will be followed. If no such formula exists, the CGPA will be multiplied by 10 to calculate the percentage.
