Eligibility Criteria of MP FSL Recruitment
- Candidates having more than two living children, out of which one child was born on or after 26 January 2001, will not be eligible.
- If a candidate has one child and later delivers twins or more children together, the candidate will not be considered ineligible.
- Male candidates married before the age of 21 years and female candidates married before the age of 18 years will not be eligible as per government rules.

MP Police Lab Technician Selection Process 2026
Stage-1: Shortlisting Based on Merit
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks in the minimum required qualification mentioned in the application form. Up to 5 times the number of vacancies will be called for the written examination.

Stage 2: Written Examination

MP FSL Exam Pattern 2026
The written examination will be conducted for a total of 200 marks. The questions will not be objective (MCQ) in nature. Candidates will be required to answer in formats such as one word, fill in the blanks, one sentence or short answer.
The minimum qualifying marks are:
- General/OBC/EWS: 50%
- SC/ST: 40%
Separate merit lists will be prepared for each category based on the marks obtained in the written examination.
Before appearing in the examination, candidates will undergo Aadhaar-based biometric verification. Only candidates whose identity is successfully verified will be allowed to take the examination.
