MOIL Exam Pattern 2026

  1. Each question in the examination carries 1 mark making a total of 85 marks for 85 questions.
  2. Every question will have 5 answer options, out of which only one option will be correct.
  3. Candidates are required to select the most appropriate answer. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded.
  4. However, there is a penalty for incorrect answers: one-fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for each wrong response.
  5. No marks will be deducted for questions that are left unattempted.

MOIL Minimum Qualification Marks 2026

  • Minimum qualifying marks are 50% of marks in General (UR/EWS)
  • 40% of marks for SC/ST/PwD/OB/NC in each segment.
  • These criteria apply section-wise and overall.

MOIL Exam Instructions for Graduate, Management Trainees and Managers 2026

  • The examination will be conducted in an online computer-based mode and will have a total duration of 90 minutes to be completed in a single sitting.
  • Although the actual test duration is 90 minutes candidates are required to remain at the examination venue for approximately 150 minutes, which includes activities such as logging in, verification of call letters and reading instructions.
  • There is no sectional time limit allowing candidates to attempt any question from any section at any point during the exam. All questions are objective-type multiple-choice questions and candidates can navigate freely between questions and modify their answers within the allotted time.
  • The answer selected through a mouse click will be considered final and if multiple selections are made, the last selected option will be treated as the final answer.
  • The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English languages except for the General English section and in case of any discrepancy in the Hindi version, the English version will be considered final and valid

MOIL Exam Centres 2026

The Computer-Based Online Test will be conducted in multiple cities. Candidates are allowed to select any two test cities from the given list based on their preference while filling out the application form. However, once the form is submitted, the selected test cities cannot be changed under any circumstances.
