Candidates belonging to UR, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD and EWS categories must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the required qualification to be eligible for the post. MOIL GT/MT Exam Selection Criteria 2026

Computer-Based Test (CBT):
The first stage of the selection process is the CBT. The test is of 90 minutes duration with a total of 85 marks. Segment I covers General Knowledge, Reasoning, and English for 30 marks, while Segment II assesses Subject Knowledge for 55 marks.

Personal Interview:
Candidates who clear the CBT are shortlisted for a personal interview. This stage focuses on assessing communication skills, personality, and overall suitability for the role. Shortlisting is done on a 1:6 ratio (category-wise) based on CBT merit. The interview carries 15 marks.

Document Verification:
After the interview, candidates must undergo document verification. Here, all original certificates and documents are checked to confirm eligibility and authenticity. This step is mandatory for the final selection.

Medical Examination:
The final stage is the medical examination, conducted by the Company Medical Officer to ensure candidates are fit for the job. The outcome of the medical examination is final and binding.

The final overall merit is calculated by combining CBT marks (85) and Interview marks (15), totalling 100 marks.

MOIL Exam Pattern 2026

The first stage of the MOIL selection process 2026 is the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted online in bilingual format (Hindi/English). The test evaluates candidates’ general aptitude as well as subject-specific knowledge.
