1. Visit the official Metro Railway, Kolkata website at mtp.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the ‘Recruitment’ or ‘What’s New’ section on the homepage.
3. Click on the link “Provisional short-listed candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2026-27”.
4. The shortlist PDF will open in your browser.
5. Press Ctrl+F and type your Application Number or Name to find your entry.
6. Download and save the PDF for future reference.

Shortlisted candidates must carry all original documents to the Screening Test and Document Verification:

• Matriculation Certificate (original, also serves as age proof)
• ITI Certificate from NCVT or SCVT in the relevant trade
• Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID)
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) in the prescribed format
• EWS Income & Asset Certificate, if applicable
• PwBD Certificate, if claiming disability reservation
• Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Hospital
• Ex-Serviceman (ESM) documents, duly attested (if applicable)
• 4 copies of recent passport-size photographs

What is after the Kolkata Metro Apprentice Result 2026?

• Shortlisting in the merit list does not guarantee final selection as an Apprentice but it only qualifies applicants for the next stage.

• The Screening Test and Document Verification dates will be announced separately on the official website so candidates must check regularly for updates.

• Shortlisted candidates must appear before the Screening Committee with all original and updated documents.
