The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the KEA Land Surveyor Exam Date 2026 for the Land Surveyor (Bhoomapaka) examination. Candidates who applied for the 750 Land Surveyor vacancies can appear for the written examination scheduled on 2 October 2026 in 2 shifts. Paper 1 will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

A total of 750 vacancies have been notified for the post of Land Surveyor. Out of these, 560 vacancies are available under the Regular Cadre (RPC), while 190 vacancies have been reserved for the Kalyana Karnataka Local Cadre.

KEA Land Surveyor Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates interested in the recruitment must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. The eligibility includes educational qualification, age limit, nationality, and other conditions. Applications submitted by ineligible candidates may be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.

KEA Land Surveyor Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Land Surveyor post should possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institution:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology.
• Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology.
• AMIE qualification in any Engineering or Technology discipline.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, or Agriculture (B.Sc.).
• Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology from an AICTE-approved institution.

NOTE: Candidates must have completed the required qualification on or before the last date of application. Those awaiting their final results are not eligible to apply.

Karnataka Land Surveyor Age Limit 2026

The age limit is calculated as per the date specified in the official notification. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per Karnataka Government rules.
