The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has cancelled the Junior Engineer (Electrical) examination for the Power Development Department due to weather-related disruptions at one of the designated exam centres. The JKSSB JE 2025 OMR-based exam was scheduled for 24 August 2025 (Sunday) and was set to take place across 35 centres in the Jammu and Srinagar districts.

While the exam was successfully conducted at 34 locations, one centre faced weather issues that necessitated the cancellation. In light of this situation, the Board has decided to cancel the OMR-based examination for the Junior Engineer (Electrical) position in the Power Development Department, which was held on 24 August 2025.
