HPPSC AE Exam Pattern 2023

The HPPSC AE Selection Process is of two steps i.e  Screening Test and a Personality Test. The HPPSC AE Exam Pattern 2023 for the Assistant Engineer Civil is given here in detail.

• The test will be of 100 questions of 1 mark each.
• The Exam could be online/offline depending on the board’s decision.
• For the Online Exam, candidates need to click on the check box mentioned in front of the options whereas, in the case of the offline paper, candidates will be required to encircle the correct option in the given OMR sheet.
• The minimum passing marks in the screening exam for the general category is 25% and 20% for the candidates of reserved categories.
• The final selection of the candidates is based on the marks obtained in the personality test.

HPPSC AE Exam Pattern 2023 Screening Test

The Screening test will be of 100 questions containing 1 mark each. A total time duration of 2 hours will be given to solve the questions asked in the exam. A negative marking of 0.25 mark will be there for every wrong answer. The detailed HPPSC AE Exam Pattern is tabulated below:

HPPSC AE Exam Pattern 2023 Personality Test

The HPPSC AE Personality Test is the selection round for the candidates. The final selection of the candidates is solely dependent on the candidate’s performance in the personality test. If in case two candidates are having same marks on the personality test, then the preference will be given to the candidate with more marks in the screening test. The personality test is of 100 marks out of which, the minimum pass marks in the personality test are 45 for the candidates of the general category and 35 marks for the candidates of reserved categories.
