Candidates must obtain a conversion certificate from their University/Institute. If no official conversion formula is available, the percentage will be calculated by dividing the total marks obtained in all semesters/years by the total maximum marks.

Age Limit

Who is not eligible for HPCL Recruitment 2026 for Graduate Apprenticeship?

Only Engineering Graduates who completed their degree on or after 01 April 2023 are eligible. Candidates who completed engineering before 01 April 2023 are not eligible.

Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training with any other organization registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (on the NATS portal) are not eligible to apply.

Candidates who have one year or more of work experience after completing their degree are also not eligible to apply.

1. Shortlisting Based on Merit
Applications will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for the respective trade as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement. Shortlisting will depend on merit and the number of available training slots.

2. Document Verification
Candidates will be called for document verification in order of merit in a 1:5 ratio against the notified training slots and communication will be sent to their registered email ID.
