What is the HCL Selection Process 2026 Electrician, Chargeman & WED posts?
The selection process for various posts at Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) will be carried out in three stages:
Online Written test: The first stage is a computer-based test of 100 marks designed to check candidates’ technical and trade knowledge along with general awareness related to their field. Out of the total 100 marks, 80 marks are allotted to technical/trade subjects and 20 marks to general knowledge.
Trade Test and Writing Ability Test: Candidates shortlisted in the written test will move to the 2nd stage. This stage focuses on assessing the practical skills and work-related abilities. The test will be conducted for 100 marks but it is qualifying in nature & the marks obtained will not be counted for the final merit list. Candidates will be called for this stage in a 1:3 ratio based on their written test performance.
Document Verification: The final stage is the DV where all the documents uploaded during the application process will be checked at the centre to confirm that the details provided are accurate and genuine.
