Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained from an institution recognised by the Government or any of the Universities established. Candidate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.

Have passed one/two years’ Surveyor course from the Industrial Training Institute recognised by the Government. Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
