AAI Apprentices Eligibility Criteria

To fill out the application form, it is essential to meet the eligibility criteria. The criteria primarily include educational qualifications, age limits, and nationality requirements, all of which are detailed below for your reference.

Educational Qualification

• For Graduate/Diploma Apprentices:
  Candidates should have completed a full-time (regular) four-year degree or a three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.

• For ITI Trade Apprentices:
  Candidates should hold an ITI or NCVT certificate in the relevant trade.

Age Limit as of 30 July 2025

Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed age criteria. The maximum age limit is 26 years as of 30 July 2025. Age relaxation may apply as per government norms, if applicable.

Other Criteria

• Only Indian Nationals under the Eastern Region (candidates of West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim and Andaman Nicobar) are eligible to apply
• Passed degree/diploma in 2023 or after 2023 are eligible.

AAI Apprentices Selection Process 2025

As per the notification PDF, the selection process for the Apprentices will include the following stages:

1. Shortlisting based on performance in the qualifying exam.
   
2. Verification of educational and personal documents.
   
3. Final medical fitness check as per AAI standards.

AAI Apprentices Stipend 2025
