The West Bengal Joint Entrance Board has released the provisional WBJEE 2025 answer keys Today, May 09, 2025. Approximately 1 lakh students appeared in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) held on April 27, 2025.

WBJEE Answer Key 2025

The Joint Entrance Board releases the WBJEE Answer Key 2025 in two phases, namely, the provisional and final answer keys. Currently, the WBJEE provisional answer key 2025 is now available at wbjeeb.nic.in. Along with it, the board activated the objection submission window for the students who are not satisfied with it or have found discrepancies.

Objections to the provisional WBJEE 2025 answer key will be accepted till the final by May 11, 2025. Every objection requires supporting documentation and an objection fee of 500/-. After the window is closed, all objections have been reviewed by the experts, the final WBJEE 2025 answer key will be released.

About West Bengal JEE 2025 Exam

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level exam administered by WBJEEB for individuals seeking admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma courses at universities, government colleges, and self-financing engineering and technological institutions in West Bengal.

This year’s exam was held on April 27 in two shifts: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, using pen and paper. Now, the board provides the WBJEE 2025 answer key along with the student’s response sheet before the results are announced.

West Bengal JEE 2025 Marking Scheme

While calculating your scores using the answer key, it is crucial to adhere to and follow the marking scheme. We have shared the WBJEE Marking scheme for all categories of questions in the table below.

Category	Marking Scheme
Category I	Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. An incorrect response will yield a loss of ¼ mark For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/4 (25% negative) marks.
Category II	Only one option is correct, the correct response yields two marks. An incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a -1/2 (25% negative) mark.
Category III	One or more options may be correct. Only correct responses will yield 2 (two) marks. There is no negative marking

WBJEE 2025 Answer Key Challenge Fee

The provisional WBJEE 2025 answer key is released on May 09, and the objection window will open simultaneously. A candidate can challenge any number of answer keys in a single session. To challenge a question, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 by net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI. If the fee payment fails, the challenge will not be reviewed.
