WBCAP UG Registration 2025: The Department of Higher Education West Bengal has started the West Bengal UG admissions 2025 by launching the Centralised Admission Portal. The West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal (WBCAP) for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025-26 has activated the registration link today, June 18, 2025, at 10 AM. Candidates can enroll and apply for programs through the official website of WBCAP Centralised Admission Portal at wbcap.in, until July 1, 2025.

Bratya Basu, Minister-in-Charge, Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal had launched the West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal (WBCAP) on June 17 for which the registration link has been activated on June 18. It is important to note that there are no registration fees to apply through West Bengal CAP for UG admissions 2025-26.

The WBCAP portal enables applicants to submit applications for as many as 25 programs at the involved institutions. Minority and autonomous institutions, along with unitary universities like Presidency University and Jadavpur University, are excluded from the centralized portal. West Bengal Undergraduate Admissions 2025-26 Schedule

The WBCAP centralised admission portal is the official home for WB UG admissions 2025-26. The application procedure involves multiple important deadlines. The merit and seat allocation list for each institute will be released on July 5, 2025, with an admission window from July 5 to July 12, 2025. An upcoming upgrade phase will have merit lists and seat allocations published on July 17, with admissions ongoing until July 20, and in-person verification of candidates taking place from July 24 to July 31, 2025. The academic year will begin on August 1, 2025.

Applicants are urged to follow the timeline and make sure they finish each phase thoroughly to obtain their preferred college and course.

Below are the detailed instructions to finish the WBCAP Registration 2025 and Application form.

• Go to the official website at wbcap.in.
• On the main page, select the “Register Now” option.
• Input the correct mobile number and email address, then select Continue to proceed to the next step.
• Applicants will get two OTPs; one will be sent to their mobile number and the other to their email address.
• Continue to enter the personal information to finalize the registration.
• Select the Complete the Registration tab to finalize the WBCAP Registration 2025.
• Now click the login link in the pop-up message that shows up after finishing the registration.
• Re-enter your login details with your username and password.
• Fill in the personal details, address information, and extra data.
• Submit the necessary documents strictly in the specified format.
• Press the preview button on the dashboard to review all the information before finalizing the WBCAP Application Form 2025.
• Select all the checkboxes and press the confirm button.
• Save the Application Form for later use.

Upon finishing the WBCAP Registration 2025 and Application form, candidates may move on to select their desired courses. Applicants can access their profile page to verify and modify the information until it reaches 100%. Additionally, applicants can modify specific information by accessing the profile page.

WB UG Centralised: Admission Portal Additional Rounds

A mop-up phase will take place from August 2 to August 11, 2025, for students who did not receive their initial seat allocations. This stage is available to new applicants and also to candidates from Phase 1 who were not assigned seats or chose not to enroll. The merit list for mop-up and seat assignments will be revealed on August 14, with the final admissions deadline being August 17, 2025. The physical verification for this round is scheduled from August 28 to September 1, 2025.
