SLAT Personal Interview Call Letter 2026

Each Symbiosis Law School (SLS) will hold a separate PI round. Candidates who have qualified for the SLAT 2026 exam have been shortlisted for admission based on their personal interactions. Candidates can download the SLAT Personal Interview Call Letter 2026 by entering their user ID and password. The candidate’s best score in PI will be used to calculate the final results for the SLAT selection procedure.

SLAT PI Call Letter 2026 Overview

The SLAT exam is held for admission to the BA LLB and BBA LLB programs. The SLAT 1 ( Symbiosis Law Admission Test 2026) exam was held on December 20th and the SLAT 2 exam on December 28th. These exams were administered online. The SLAT entrance exam results will be released on January 15th. And then the PI round will be conducted.

SLAT Merit List

The SLAT Admissions process 2026 will start in January. Candidates who are shortlisted based on their SLAT score will participate in the PI round, which is hosted individually by each SLAT College. The SLAT Merit List 2026 will be determined by the composite scores from the admission test and the personal interview round.

SLAT Personal Interview 2026 Selection Criteria

following are the rules for preparing the merit list based on the merit lists –

• The SLAT selection criteria assign 70% weightage to the SLAT result and 30% weightage to the personal interview round.
• The composite scores obtained in all SLAT exams and PI processes are used to make the final selection of candidates.
• Previously, the SLAT exam selection method was weighted 50%, with the written ability test (WAT) round carrying 20% and the PI round carrying 30%. The WAT round has been deleted from the SLAT selection procedure, and the PI round will be scored for 30 points.

SLAT Counselling 2026

Following the declaration of results, qualified candidates are participating in the counseling process. Candidates have to visit the official websites of colleges and check the counseling schedule. They have to register in online mode from the official website only. Candidates registering successfully are issued PI call letters to appear for PI-WAT rounds.

• Candidates have to appear for PI-WAT rounds where a panel of judges tests candidates based on general awareness, legal knowledge, and other relevant topics.
• On the basis of SLAT scores, PI scores, and WAT scores, each symbiosis institute prepares its own STAT merit list and the shortlisted candidates have to secure a seat by paying the admission fee and completing other documentation.

Selection Criteria for SLAT 2026

The SLAT 2026 selection criteria have been updated this year. Now, the final admission decision will be based on two components: the SLAT exam score and the Personal Interview (PI). The SLAT written exam carries 70% weightage, making it the most important part of the evaluation. The Personal Interview carries 30% weightage, with the WAT (Written Ability Test) completely removed from the process. Earlier, the SLAT exam had 50% weightage, WAT had 20%, and PI had 30%, but for SLAT 2026, only the SLAT score and PI score will be considered. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the combined marks they secure in both these stages.
