Understanding the latest SLAT Exam Pattern 2026 is very first step in the entrance exam preparation. SLAT Exam Pattern 2026

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts an Symbiosis Law Admission Test for individuals interested in pursuing undergraduate law studies at its law schools. As per the latest SLAT 2026 Exam pattern, the question paper consists of five subjects: Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge.

In the paper, each segment contains 12 questions. Students have to complete all 60 questions within 1 hour.  The SLAT test contains three main components: SLAT, SLAT WAT, and SLAT PI. Candidates who pass the written test must produce essays on specific topics before moving on to the interview rounds.

SLAT Marking Scheme

• Candidates in SLAT 2026 will receive one mark for each correct answer.
• There will be no penalty or negative marking for wrong responses or unanswered questions.
• Marks will not be granted or withheld for questions that applicants do not attempt.
• Overall scores will be determined using the number of correct responses out of 60.

SLAT Selection Process 2026

The SLAT 2026 selection happens in two stages:

• SLAT Entrance Exam: This is the first step, where you take the SLAT exam. It checks how well you can think, understand legal ideas, solve problems, read passages, and know basic current affairs.
• Personal Interview (PI): If you clear the exam, you will be called for a personal interview. A group of interviewers talks to you to understand your personality, confidence, goals, and whether you are a good fit for studying law
